The battery is very easy to install and secure. The gun body is lightweight but durable. It is easy and comfortable to hold in your hand, the control buttons and OLED display are ergonomically located. Convenient trigger. The craftsman can use the glue gun with minimal effort. Precise adjustment of the glue temperature ensures work without drips from the nozzle, keeping your work area clean and your hands safe. When turned on, the OLED display shows the set temperature and then the actual temperature of the glue. After heating to the set temperature, the gun gives a sound signal that it is ready for operation. The temperature of the glue can be changed within the range from 100°C – 210°C. When the battery is discharged, the gun gives a double beep several times within one minute and the OLED display shows the message Battery low, then the gun turns off. To ensure proper shutdown of the gun, select the voltage of your battery 14.4V or 18V in the menu.
The HotSpot DigiGun cordless glue gun provides long-lasting operation without recharging, up to 9 hours, when using an 18V battery with a capacity of 6Ah.
The HotSpot DigiGun cordless glue gun can operate in several modes:
- Continuous heating until the working temperature of the glue is reached.
- Working mode with maintaining the set temperature.
- An economical sleep mode that lowers the temperature to 100°C and reduces energy consumption to a minimum. All modes can be set in the settings menu.
The glue heats up to working temperature within 2 minutes.
The HotSpot DigiGun cordless glue gun is powered by a Makita or Dewalt 14.4V – 18V battery with a recommended capacity of 3Ah or higher.
